The Texas Gang Investigators Association is comprised of an Executive Board, a State Board and six regions that encompass the state. Each of the regions have up to two elected Directors, depending on the number of members in the region.

   The TGIA Executive Board is elected every two years by the general membership during the Annual Training Conference.

   The State Board is made up of these appointed positions: Parliamentarian, Membership Chairman, News Editor / Historian, Sergeant-At-Arms, and State Training Coordinator.

   The State Board members are appointed for two year terms by the TGIA Executive Board.
