The Texas Gang Investigators Association has four classes of membership:
Active
Associate
Honorary
Life Member
The qualifications for Active Membership are as follows:
Any licensed full time peace officer or reserve officer, probation officer, parole officer, corrections officer, or retired officer may become Active members. Annual dues are $20.00 per year, per person.
The qualifications for Associate Membership are as follows:
Any individual who may show an interest in the Association and with the approval of the Board of Directors can become an Associate member. Annual dues are $10.00 per year, per person.
All Active and Associate Memberships are for 1 year and expire on August 31st of each year.
The qualifications for Honorary Membership are as follows:
Any individual who has assisted in the betterment of the Association, and with the approval of the Board of Directors can become an Honorary member. Honorary Members shall not be assessed any dues.
The qualifications for Life Membership are as follows:
Any Active Member who by special circumstances and with the Approval of the Board of Directors can become a Life Member.
All State Presidents upon completion of their terms will become Life Members. Life Members shall not be assessed any dues.

As a member of the Texas Gang Investigators Association, you will receive the kind of quality information and training you expect from a leader. Our Association is always evolving as the needs of our members continue to change and as new information relating to gangs becomes available. You will receive on a timely basis the newest & latest information, technology and developments in the constantly changing world of gangs and their criminal activity and methods.
We make it our responsibility to know you as a member, and when possible, your agency. We desire to work closely with you to ensure that the training, contacts and information we provide are able to meet your unique needs and challenges. We are committed to assisting you in your training and criminal investigations of gangs and organized crime.
At the Texas Gang Investigators Association, our highest priority is satisfied members. You are important to us.

For your convenience, you may also securely pay your membership fee here through PayPal using your credit card. You must still mail your completed membership application form and the copy of your law enforcement identification to our Membership Chairman at the address on the application form.
After you submit your application, please sign up for access to the Secure Pages of our web site on the Members Area Registration page. Once your application and payment for membership have been processed, your access to the Secure Pages will be approved and you will be contacted via email with your user name and password.
