The TGIA Training Conference offers the most current and comprehensive information on street and prison gangs. Seminar instructors are considered experts in their respective fields. The conference is designed to meet the needs of both new and experienced persons dealing with street gangs and gang activities.
Attendance at the TGIA Training Conference is limited to TGIA members, judges and criminal justice professionals, including sworn law enforcement officers, correctional officers, probation officers, criminal analysts and prosecuting attorneys. Official identification will be required at registration and may be requested at any conference presentation or function. Note: NO TAPE RECORDINGS or photography/video taping will be allowed without the written permission of the Texas Gang Investigators Association.
The 2015 Texas Gang Investigators Training Conference is being held June 29 - July 03, 2015 at the beautiful Omni Corpus Christi Hotel in Corpus Christi, Texas. Online conference registration is now open. Walk in registration will be available on a space available basis. The conference registration fee is $250.00. The registration fee covers the cost of all conference materials, networking events and refreshment breaks. The registration deadline is Friday, June 12, 2015, at 5:00 P.M. Attendance is limited, and people who do not pre-register online cannot be guaranteed a place at the conference. Conference Hotel Information
This conference is being held at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel, 900 N. Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78401. For your convenience we have made arrangements for rooms at the conference hotel.
You can make your hotel reservation online or by calling the hotel directly at (361) 887-1600. A special rate of $99.00 single / $139.00 double / $149.00 triple / $159.00 quad (plus taxes) per night is being offered. The Omni Hotel has agreed to honor these same rates for the 3 days prior to the conference and the 3 days after the conference for any member who might wish to stay in the area longer. Reservations must be made by Saturday, June 06, 2015, to obtain these rates or until the room block is full, whichever comes first. When making your reservation, you should indicate that you are requesting the "TGIA" room block.
Self-parking at the hotel is free. The valet rate is $18.00. The shuttle service to and from the airport is free and runs every hour on the hour.
