QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP:
Any licensed full time or reserve peace officer, probation officer, parole officer, corrections officer, crime analyst, prosecutor, judge, or retired officer (on a case by case basis) may become a member. Annual dues are $20.00 per year. Once your application has been reviewed and accepted, you will receive an invoice from our treasurer. Once your payment is received we will notify you of your active membership.
Due to increased security measures, we have tightened our membership qualifications. If you do not qualify for membership but have an interest in joining our association, please contact the Membership Chairman to inquire about joining. TGIA reserves the right to refuse membership to any person we determine may not be eligible to receive the sensitive information released to our membership.
Membership is temporary, pending approval by the Executive Board and certification by the Membership Chairman.
Membership runs on our fiscal year calendar. Period of membership is September 1, through August 31, the following year. If you attend conference, part of your fee is your membership fee - your membership will be active until August 31, the following year.
